Community services

Of course, Mr. Yusuffali is a wizard in the field of business and enterprise. But there is another sector he has relentlessly contributed to – service to humanity. He has always been at the forefront to help the needy and serve the society, in his own ways. He has kept himself involved in many social, charitable and humanitarian activities both in India as well as in Gulf countries.

Yusuffali M.A., long regarded the unofficial ambassador of India to the Gulf as a whole, has donated generously during natural calamities viz., Tsunami relief in Asia or Typhoon and flood relief in other parts of the world. Yusuffali has taken extra care in ensuring that the expatriate Indians in the Gulf are assured of all their social, economic and religious welfare. One example is his efforts in finding land for the Christian community in the region to build churches and securing cremation grounds for the Hindu populace in the Gulf. Moreover, during the amnesty period in the Gulf, when hundreds of Indians lost their livelihood and were struggling to find money even for an air ticket to get back home, he was in the forefront offering help to provide them all facilities including air tickets.

Besides, the philanthropist in the businessman acts every time his homeland, India, faces crises due to natural calamities. This was evident in the phenomenal help Yusuffali offered at the time of the Gujarat earthquake, Tsunami disaster and so on. He was among the first to offer help to rehabilitate people who lost their livelihood in the Calicut market fire.

The examples go endless. As he himself puts it, “it is all thanks to Allah”.
